About
Somewhere along the way I became more fascinated by the complexity of human behavior than anything I could build with concrete and steel.

My Background
I grew up around addiction. That environment shaped how I understand struggle, resilience, and what change actually requires. It also eventually pointed me toward therapy, first as a client working through my own history, then as a career.
Somewhere along the way, the complexity of human behavior, the brain, and what drives suffering became more compelling than anything I'd built before. I know what it's like to sit with hard questions, to rebuild an identity, to search for direction when the familiar road runs out. That experience informs how I work.
I bring the same rigor I developed as an engineer into the therapy room. Structured thinking, a bias toward honesty, a commitment to going beneath the surface. This work is collaborative and direct, built around the belief that real change comes from understanding yourself more deeply, not just managing symptoms more effectively.
My Approach
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am licensed as an LPCC in Colorado. I'm trained in CBT, DBT, and EMDR, with clinical background in addiction recovery and trauma therapy. My work draws from existential, humanistic, and depth psychology frameworks.
I work with adults navigating life transitions, trauma, addiction and recovery, identity shifts, and questions about meaning and purpose. Men make up a significant part of my practice. In my experience, they're often the least likely to seek help and the most likely to benefit from a direct, no-bullshit approach to the work.
Sessions are offered via telehealth for adults located in Colorado. If you're unsure whether this is the right fit, a free consultation is the best place to start.
If something here resonated, trust that instinct.
Reaching out is the hardest part. Everything after is just a conversation.
